The Challenge

 

Our client planned to undertake a new joint venture, resulting in the formation of a new company. Significant organisational change was required to create the new company, and a team of professionals with deep expertise in managing change was required to manage the complexity of the project.

 

The Solution

 

Our client engaged Alpha Zero Consultants to assist in the management of HR changes involved in the formation of the new company. Alpha Zero complemented the expertise of the internal HR team and managed the co-ordination of all aspects of the people change programme.

 

The project was successfully completed by Alpha Zero, who facilitated the smooth transition to a new company employing some 1200 people in the UK, France, Netherlands, Belgium and US.

 

High quality but light touch project management was critical to the success and the pace of this project. Practical knowledge of TUPE and ARD legislation and the consequent requirements for consultation on a European basis were also key ingredients. Regular, timely, co-ordinated and relevant communication was essential to keep staff fully in the picture and to gain buy-in to the required changes.

 

Also within the scope of the project was the establishment of new HR policies, new corporate intranet, new HR systems, establishing a new HR function to support the business on a European basis. Alpha Zero provided both content and process to help ensure that all vital needs and that the transition to the new company was smooth and trouble free.
