The Challenge

 

Concep is an e-marketing specialist. They are continually improving existing software and developing new solutions. They required expert software developers to meet this need, with a particular focus on integrating their existing solution with different Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Furthermore, they required a technology partner to assist with various issues and projects, for example software support.

 

The Solution

 

Alpha Zero have become Concep’s software development and technology partner and have developed powerful integration tools to support the Concep e-marketing solution enabling it to function effectively with a number of different CRM systems. The integration suite that has been developed allows clients to benefit from best-in-class e-mail marketing without having to manually export any data – information remains in the original CRM system and is directly transferred when needed. The suite of products, collectively know as cMap have been integrated with various systems including LexisNexis InterAction, MS Dynamics (CRM4Legal) and SalesForce.

 

Features of cMap

 

The cMap suite consists of four components:

  • List Export Tool: Exports contact lists directly from the original CRM software to Concep’s e-marketing solution
  • Activity Logger: A powerful reporting tool which allows users to create activities (i.e. tasks such as Campaign Sent or Opt-Outs) in the original CRM system based on activities in Concep’s e-marketing solution. Can be configured to meet client’s preferences.
  • Preference Manager: Allows contacts to update their subscription to Marketing Lists and contact information in CRM software via a web page. Furthermore web links can be placed directly into the campaign.
  • Form Manager: Builds web pages that integrate directly with CRM software, for example firm-branded pages with forms.

Additional Services

 

In addition to cMap, Alpha Zero have worked on various ad-hoc projects for Concep. These include systems to help automation of internal tasks and a reporting platform. We have also provided advice and presented a proposal for re-development of Concep’s Email marketing system. This included consultancy on the technical architecture, development methodology and maintenance lifecycle of these systems.
