The NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) is the UK's leading charity specialising in child protection and the prevention of cruelty to children. Their vision is a society in which all children are loved, valued and able to fulfill their potential. In other words, a society that will not tolerate child abuse. The NSPCC employs 1,800 people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. They run 180 child protection teams and projects and 17,000 Community Appeals volunteers, who are vital to the success of their fundraising effort.
Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council is a large but progressive unitary authority in South Wales with responsibility for the majority of public services delivered in the area.
